Pinch me, because this must be a dream! We’re having a baby! I can’t believe I’m finally typing those words, and even more unbelievable – it’s actually happening!
For those of you who are new to our story, we’ve been on a long and emotional rollercoaster of a journey trying to conceive (TTC) and dealing with infertility. For the past five years, we’ve faced the challenges of infertility, and for the last two years, we’ve navigated the world of fertility treatments. And guess what? It finally worked! I am truly, unequivocally pregnant!
Knowing how many of you have been following our journey on TikTok, we couldn’t wait to share this incredible news with the world. Originally, we were bursting at the seams to announce it right away. However, we ended up waiting until around 16 weeks – partially because we were in shock and we wanted to share the new personally with family and friends.
We’re so excited to document this entire experience with you all, both here on the blog and across our social media platforms.
The Emotional IVF Rollercoaster
The IVF process was undeniably demanding. It was a true emotional rollercoaster filled with injections, endless appointments, and a constant cycle of hope and disappointment. There were moments of pure excitement followed by the crushing weight of negative tests. But throughout it all, we had unwavering support from family, friends, and the amazing online fertility community. You guys are the absolute best!
On December 16th, just five short days after our transfer, we saw it – those two beautiful lines on the pregnancy test, clear as day. Tears flowed freely (happy ones, this time!), and a wave of pure joy washed over us.
We DID it. We’re Having a Baby.
A Message to the IVF Community
To anyone reading this who is currently on their own IVF journey, we see you! We understand the struggles you face, the emotional toll it takes, and the constant hope that keeps you going. Know that you’re not alone. My messages on social media are always open if you need someone to chat with, vent to, or simply share your story.
This is just the beginning of our incredible journey as parents-to-be, and we can’t wait for you to be a part of it!
