Moreover, if you’re looking for something more savory, they also have an array of sandwiches and salads. So, if you’re ever in the area, make sure to stop by Deer Cafe for some delicious food and coffee!

4. Kaffeezimmer
Kaffeezimer is rated top 5 in coffee choices in Heidelberg by my coffee-loving husband. Craving a delicious coffee to fuel your workday? I’ve got the perfect spot to get things done!
This spacious cafe which even has a small outdoor seating area, perfect for catching the afternoon sun. And what makes Kaffeezimmer truly unique is that it’s also a micro-roastery right here in Heidelberg, so you can not only enjoy a delicious cup of joe, but you can also grab freshly roasted beans to take home and recreate the magic yourself!
5. Mildner
Mildner is one of the best Heidelberg cafes, and it’s an institution in the city. If you’re looking for a coffee shop, Mildner’s is just like any other. Yet, I count it among my favorites due to the pleasant ambiance and helpful staff.
Located in the Old Town, Mildner is famous for its delicious cakes and pastries. Croissants and other baked goods taste fine. They have a wonderful variety of sandwiches and other breakfast items like yogurt with fruit. Every seat, indoors and out, is cozy.

Friedrich is a must-see Heidelberg cafe shop. Located in Baden-Württemberg Germany, it’s the perfect place to stop on your way to work or university. It is a charming daytime café with a lively bar scene. It has a nice atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious drinks. Strongly suggest it as the ideal drink for unwinding.
7. Heart and Soul
Heart and Soul is the third-ranked coffee shop in Heidelberg. It’s a cozy cafe with a laid-back atmosphere and a wide selection of tasty drinks, as well as a variety of food options.
A cozy café in picturesque Bergheim where you may enjoy the work of local artists, listen to excellent concerts in the comfort of your living room on Friday evenings, and let a few things work on you.
