What are you watching?
Anyone else have a favorite list of things they are currently watching? I know, I know binge-watching is an addiction! My husband an I are king and queen of this! That’s how you know you’ve found a good show. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that on my stories a couple times I have mentioned shows or movies and over 90% of people do not know what I am talking about.
I decided to help everyone out and create a top SEVEN watch list for Netflix, Hulu, & Prime Video!
Lets Get Started….
NETFLIX
TV SERIES
- Narcos: BINGE-WORTHY! We love following the current one, but if you love crime/drama shows. THIS is for you!!
- The Trial of Gabriel Fernandez: If you are a documentary person, I HIGHLY suggest this one! So sad, but a true story that happened in Los Angeles.
- Waco: This series is follows a 1993 Cult. The 6 episodes will have you mind-blown and curious about cults.
- Weeds: Drug dealing suburban mother? Need I say more. I watched this series TWICE! Binge-worthy!
- How to get away with Murder: Talk about teasers. This thriller knows how to keep you hooked from the first episode!
- Dead to me: Suspense & all the questions in this comedy and drama!
- Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez: This documentary looks at former NFL superstar Aaron Hernandez! I did not follow the news during this time. Very interesting!
MOVIES
- Mudbound: This drama hits your heart! It’s based in Mississippi port-World War II & talks about two families who have fought in the battle!
- Marriage Story: You will laugh, cry an reflect! New perspective on marriage & I loved every minute of it!
- The Irishman: If you are a mafia addict like my husband & I, watch this IMMEDIATELY!
- Uncut Gems: I think this is the first semi-serious movie I have seen Adam Sandler. Theres alot of unexpected items in this crime, drama & thriller!
- The Two Popes: Maybe there’s a trend here.. this is based off of Pope Benedict XVI & Pope Francis. Gives you a little history along with drama. NEXT ON OUR LIST:
- Roma: Spend a year with a middle-class family’s maid in Mexico.
- Beasts of No Nation: Drama, which shows a child soldier fighting in the civil war!
HULU
MOVIES:
- Parasite: It’s worth the reading of captions! SO worth the hype!
- Goodfellas: Italian-American Crime! This one is a classic!
- Booksmart: A fun comedy following two almost high school grads!
- Crazy, Stupid, Love: Ryan Gosling… just kidding. Follows a man journey when his high school sweet heart asks for a divorce!
- A Simple Favor: Comedy, crime & drama full of twists and turns. I did not realize what it was really about!
- Creed II: Sometimes a sequel is overdone & that’s not the case with Creed! ON THE LIST:
- The Whistleblower: Crime & Drama based on a true story, we are in. What do you think?
PRIME VIDEO
SERIES
- Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Filled with action & a drama. A CIA analyst gets a field assignment!
- Homecoming: Julia Robert stars in an odd experiment with soldiers.
- Goliath: Binge-worthy about a strange lawyer looking for revenge!
- The Sopranos: If you haven’t see this, drop everything and start binging!
- Sex and the city: I have seen this whole series more times than I can count! If you are a woman, add it to your list. I also LOVE the movies. It truly never gets old!
- Bosch: Follows a L.A.P.D. homicide detective. First season is binge-worthy!
- Mr. Robot: Young cyber-security engineer & hacker gets into some things with a corrupt corporation.
MOVIES
- The Aeronauts: A balloon pilot and a scientist make discoveries in a gas balloon in the 1860s. I was 100% into this movie!
- The Report: Based on a true story and it had me HOOKED from the beginning!
- Late night: My husband and I don’t usually watch a lot of comedies together, but this one won our hearts!
- The Invisible Man: I am the scariest person you will ever know! This was surprisingly a great movie. I may have slept with the lights on!
- Serenity: This movie was so unexpected and made you think! So many perspectives!
- The Commuter: Basically everything you expect to see in a Liam Neeson movie except its NOT another Taken sequel. ahah ON THE LIST:
- The Lincoln Lawyer: Alright, alright, alright… ahaha
