The phrase “Opening back up is more real than ever!.” Don’t forget your hand sanitizer, masks & whatever is normal these days. I have done some research to find which places have announced their openings as of 5/24/20!

- Florida Keys
Open their gates on June 1 & cut their occupancy by HALF! Will you be sipping on Pina Colodas on the beach? According to Florida keys officials, they have been closed to visitors since March 22!
2. Mexico
Man, this is a sore topic for me. We had multiple trips planned including a wedding! See you next year Hotel Xcaret. Mexico will begin phase 2 in July which includes opening the international terminal!
3. Australia
According to NY times, Australia has announced plans to revive tourism. There is a three-stage-plan, but I am DREAMER!
4. Saint Lucia
Saint Lucia aspires to become first Caribbean island to reopen to tourists on June 4.
5. Italy
Italy plans on allowing international travel starting June 3! This date is for European tourists! We will have to wait for an announcement once things are implemented.
6. Iceland
Plans to reopen June 15 with COVID-19 tests available to avoid the 14-day quarantine. Tourism is an integral for Iceland’s economy!
7. Aruba
Reopens borders between June 15 and July 1.. “We will welcome guests back to our sunny shores as soon as it is safe to do so.”
8. Bahamas
Will you be sipping on Daquiris on the beach? Bahamas Prime minister Dr. Hubery Minnis possibly July 1!
9. Greece
Prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis states that June 15th is the OFFICIAL start of the tourist season! I need a Greece blog because it was what dreams are made of except I WILL talk about the bug situation ahah.
10. U.S Virgin Islands
St. Crox, St, Thomas, St. John, and Water Island have been working with the Department of Tourism, the Department of Health, and the U.S. Virgin Islands Tourism Association. The plan is to welcome tourist June 1.We may not be able to take flight yet, but there’s something about the possibility of things going towards our new normal!At the end of the day, I cannot wait start adventuring again some day!
